RECONNOITERING THE ENEMY'S WEAPON:
News about the enemy’s marching were conveyed to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) , so he sent out Al-Aslami with orders to mix with people, stay with them so that he would be able to know their news and to convey it to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when he turns back. That was exactly what he managed to do.
